Over the next decade, between lengthy stints in Spain and Japan, Daralyn completed a BA in Speech Sciences/Linguistics at the University of British Columbia. Her exposure to other cultures and their concepts of health brought her back home to pursue a rewarding career in Naturopathic Medicine.

He has treated people at all stages of life, male and female, those dealing with specific health concerns, and those who just want to be healthy. Amongst all of his years of study, he has found that the time that he has spent with his patients has taught him the most.   He is extremely excited to be a member of the wellness team at Quinte Naturopathic Centre.

Dr. Tasha Mumby, BSc, ND

Dr. Tasha Mumby ND grew up in Prince Edward County, a small, rural community located near Belleville, ON.  As a young adult, Tasha was a dedicated student in the professional program at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, which is where her love for healthy living started.

She attended Queen’s University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science Honours degree, majoring in psychology.  Tasha originally planned to pursue a career in psychology but found that the conventional medical system did not match how she saw herself helping individuals.  In her final year at Queen’s University, Tasha was introduced to the field of Naturopathic Medicine and began volunteering at the Quinte Naturopathic Centre. Shadowing Dr. Durkin inspired Tasha to help individuals become healthier through naturopathic medicine.

In 2013, Tasha enrolled at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and began pursuing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree. She graduated in April 2017, and is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor(College of Naturopaths of Ontario) and holds professional memberships with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Tasha believes that everyone has a unique health journey and that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. She strives to create an open, comfortable space for patients to share their story and creates individualized treatment plans which incorporate the wide range of naturopathic modalities. Tasha is extremely proud to begin her practice where everything started, at the Quinte Naturopathic Centre.
