Without fail January is always the month where we have the most cancellations and re-scheduling of appointments. That commitment to health someone had in December all of a sudden becomes too overwhelming to face.
Is it because people start to feel guilty about all the "bad choices" they made over the holidays? Is it the pressure we put on ourselves to set resolutions to make this year "better"?
Maybe I'm wrong but, I don't think it has to be that way. Let's re-frame our January.
Forget resolutions. I prefer to call it implementing a fast lane on the road of my dreams. You don't need it to get there but it sure does help.
Drop the guilt. Let's start being a little kinder to ourselves and ask yourself how you want to feel this year versus what you want to do.
Are you ready to create a healthier 2015? Here are 2 great ways that we can help:
1. 10 Day Group Detox: Who really wants to do a detox on their own? Not me! This popular group detox will begin with an introductory seminar on Tuesday Jan 27th at 6pm and the detox will run from Wednesday Jan 28th to Friday Feb 6th. The seminar will cover the why's and how's of detoxification that you will need to complete the 10 days. You will also receive a daily email to guide you throughout the detox. We will be using the detox product Mediclear by Thorne. Registration and purchase of Mediclear can be completed through QNC reception by phone 613-966-9660 or email reception@quintenc.ca.
2. Eat Real Food Academy: This online program is for anyone who wants to take healthy eating to the next level. It is ideal for anyone who wants to learn the science behind why what we eat matters, and is ready to implement a healthier relationship with food. Registration is HERE and will be open from Wednesday Jan. 14th - Tuesday Jan. 20th. You can also sign up for our Free 1 Week Meal Plan and Shopping List HERE or browse the Eat Real Food Academy website for more information.
