If you have been following our Facebook group or the blog in the last couple weeks you will know that Naturopathic Doctors are undergoing a crucial time in their profession. If not, it is time to get you up to speed!

 

Currently there is a transition occurring for regulation of Naturopathic Doctors into the RHPA. Under the concept that more regulation is safer for the public, the government has failed to acknowledge the safety record of Ontario NDs since 1925 and will be limiting their scope of practice in several ways.

 

Of particular concern is the pending regulatory amendments to the Laboratory and Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act, 1990.  If approved, the regulation will severely limit the ability of Naturopathic Doctors to provide care to you.
