Can you be healthy yet still enjoy some holiday treats at the same time?
It is possible if you make it a priority.
A couple of my friends and I decided a few years ago to start doing a healthier version of a cookie exchange. We make each other a dozen of whatever healthy treat we choose. I have received everything from keto-fudge to low-carb chocolate chip cookies to Paleo-gingerbread cookies.
This year I am making a keto-friendly treat. I plan on packaging them in a tin or jar lined with parchment paper and maybe decorate with some Christmas ribbon.
I know it's hard for people to come up with their own ideas, especially when it's busy around the holidays, so I thought I would share my recipe with you.
Now I would love to hear from you! What is a Christmas tradition that you would like to change this year? Leave a comment below and I'll be back next week with another edition of Doctor as Teacher Tuesday!
