Hello everyone! Although our recent weather doesn't suggest it, spring is on the way! We are excited at QNC because we have a large lineup of events for community participation coming up this spring. Check out the following and sign up individually or with a friend!
1. Cooking for Weight Loss with Living Primal (Carolyn Coffin and Kevin Beatty). You have the option of choosing a half or a full day seminar. Dates for half days include: Sat Apr. 13th, Mon Apr. 15th, and Mon Apr. 29th. All half day seminars are 9am - 12pm and include breakfast and lunch. Cost is $60. A full day seminar is available on Saturday Apr. 27th from 9am - 4pm and includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Cost is $100. 2. Why Eat a Plant Based Diet? with Vibeke Vale. You have the option of choosing a demonstration cooking class Tuesday Apr. 9th 6:30pm - 8:00pm ($35) OR a hands-on cooking class Thursday Apr. 25th 6:30pm - 8:30pm ($50). Includes full course meal eg. Green juice, Avocado Kale salad, Carrot Quinoa soup, and Banana ice cream. Contact Vibeke to sign up at 613-921-3558, or veganfaery@gmail.com .
3. Naturopathic Medicine Week: May 6th - May 10th. Help celebrate at QNC as we will be hosting a FREE Brown Bag Lunch seminar called "The Psychology of Food, Why Diets Don't Work" Friday May 10th 12pm - 1pm. 4. 10 Day Clean Eating & Detox Challenge: May 22nd - May 31st. Cost will include intro seminar, foodplan, and detoxification powder. Details TBA. Email reception@quintenc.ca or call the office at 613-966-9660 to sign up.
5. Anti-inflammatory Eating Seminar: Tentatively scheduled for Friday May 31st depending on interest. Please advise reception by email reception@quintenc.ca or call the office 613-966-9660 if interested. We are also looking to see if people would prefer a morning or an evening session.
