Today's post is a simple video on one of the things that I eat for breakfast.
For some reason breakfast seems to be a big hurdle for people to change. Without good examples of how you can do things differently, that don't sacrifice time or convenience, you can easily slip into old, unhealthy habits.
Let's face it. Most of today's commercially available breakfast foods are basically dessert. And these foods set your blood sugar up for disaster for the rest of the day. No wonder people are so moody!
Check out this video to see how you can still have a quick, convenient meal that is also healthy for you. Win, win!
Eating healthy isn't hard. It just takes practice.
Now I would love to hear from you! What is another quick, go-to healthy breakfast that could also work for you? Leave a comment below and I'll be back next week with another edition of Doctor as Teacher Tuesday!

Good Morning Michelle. Thanks for this video. Love that we’re not the only ones who miscalculate our inventory!
We’ve been on Metagenics UltraInflamx for quite a while. There are so many products out there that we might benefit from, we need a follow-up appointment with you to investigate.
Very interested to hear more about medical foods. Maybe at our next appointment? Thank you for sharing this!
You are welcome! We can definitely discuss at your next appointment.
Glad you enjoyed it. We can definitely discuss other medical foods at your next appointment.
Your video was great! Thank you!
I sometimes eat Leftovers for breakfast! Those things in your fridge that often end up at the curb on the next garbage day make a delicious start to the day, sprinkled with hemp hearts, ground flax and chia for extra measure. Mmmm!
Sounds great Shelley!
I love this recipe idea and can’t wait to try it! I usually do a smoothie with:
– 1 scoop of ultra glucose control (chocolate)
– 1 hand full of spinach,
– 1 avocado
– 500 ml of cold water
– 1 splash of unsweetened almond milk and after your suggestion at my last appointment, I am now adding 1 scoop of Ultra Clear Renew (Chai).
Thank you Dr. Durkin!
Thanks for sharing Jill. Glad you liked the video!
